Classroom Management Plan
Franklin Academy - Fifth Grade - 2016-2017
In order to create a comfortable and positive environment and to help your child succeed in my class, I have created a Classroom Management Plan. It contains the classroom rules and procedures that they will need to follow in order to do well in my class. As your child’s Math and Science teacher, I will be sure to explain and reinforce these rules and procedures so that our classroom operates smoothly and so that I will be able to teach to the best of my ability. My goal in sharing this plan with you and your child is so that you will understand what is expected in our classroom at all times.
Any student who does not follow the school or classroom rules will be documented on the Franklin Academy’s behavioral log. In addition, this year fifth grade classroom will utilize a discipline plan that will include a 4 strike system. This system will allow students to be removed from participating in non-educational extracurricular 5th grade activities (ex. birthday celebrations, class parties, fifth grade dance) after 4 infractions.
Our Classroom Rules: I will…
